This year for the first time we are running two programmes that are open to everyone, regardless of where they live. This gives many more the opportunity to join the Talk for Health journey and rip the benefits of ongoing group peer support for free.
The first programme has started but there are still places available for the next Open-to-All programme starting February 2018.
Completing a programme is just the start of your personal development journey. We have a vibrant community of graduates and a wealth of future opportunities available to them. Once you graduate, you will be able to attend ongoing Chair and Share groups, Advanced Learning Groups and our monthly themed events – ’Specials’.
Find out all about current programmes here.
Hi,
I am interested in learning more and getting involved in your work. My background is in traditional Martial Arts, Hip Hop and Philosophy. I hold a BA in Philosophy and have worked for three years as a specialist Philosophy teacher in schools with “The Philosophy Foundation”. I am also a Hip Hop practitioner specializing in rap and beat production. I currently deliver Hip Hop workshops in schools focused on facilitating emotional wellbeing through music. My martial practice is based at Tetsushinkan Dojo in Islington where I have taught children and trained in Aikido and Kashima no Tachi for 14 years.
Having stepped into the world of therapeutic practices in the last year I am hoping to become more experienced within this field and eventually gain some accreditation so as to add to my current practice and develop it further in the direction of facilitating wellbeing.
Thank you for your time,
Tanga Wanda
