Happy Sunday!

Children’s Mental Health Week is a time to shed light on the well-being of the younger generation. It’s an opportunity to emphasise the significance of emotional and mental health in children’s lives. This week encourage more open conversations, education and support for children facing mental health challenges. As a community, we can make a positive impact on the mental well-being of our children, setting them on a path to a brighter future.

Warmest wishes,

Anika & the Talk for Health Team

The session will look at the dominant model of mental ill-health – the medical diagnostic model – and discuss the advantages of such a model and what the alternatives might be.

In this session we will explore the many different ways of thinking about mental ill-health and what different models are being researched and developed around the world.

The second half of the Special will give you a chance to experience some of our key learning areas of Talk for Health.
